Does the job!
This is a reliable and accurate thermometer, with two decimal places so suitable for maximising or minimising chances of pregnancy. It sits in the mouth quite comfortably while you await a reading - better than a slightly longer one that I had previously. It also holds the last reading in its memory until you replace it with another - all you need do to retrieve it is hold down the button for two seconds, which is a little bit fiddly. This feature is important as you need to take your temperature as soon as you wake up, and you'd probably rather not put the light on and write the reading on your chart until later in the day. The chart provided is a useful one to practise with but it's worth obtaining full booklets of instructions and charts from the Natural Family Planning Association in ... It's OK but with some flaws
Generally speaking it's a good product, works fine and all. My issues are: 1. It takes longer then i would have liked to get the final measurement. I think it takes something like a minute... This is not a huge issue but since you have to take your temperature in the mornings (very early) I sometimes doze back to sleep till it finishes - and that is not very good. 2. Feels not very precise - due to the time it take I feel that it is not very precise. i can take my temp 1--2 times in a row and get different results - since we are talking about very 0.05 differences it can be significant 3. It does the job well
It measures to 2 decimal places and has a memory feature so you can take your temp in the morning then note it down later on which is handy if you have a busy morning (or you aren't a morning person like me). I haven't used the chart provided (since I'm charting to avoid and wanted to use a different one). It can feel like it's taking a while to actually register a temperature when your waiting for the beep but really it's only a matter of seconds while it's getting a stable temp (maybe 15 or so). I've been using it everyday for about a month and a half and it's been working well so far. Good value for money, it comes with instructions for the thermometer and different ways/areas to take temp which also explains the memory feature (which is simple to use) and has a little plastic case it ...
