This is a great item and I love it. It seem to be really well made and designed. There are two storage pouches by your kidneys that are padded on the inside in case you fall, but I probably wouldn't put anything sharp in there. The feature of being able to remove the sleeves is super nice. I normally ride with the sleeves off unless I am doing crazy downhill stuff. The sleeves fit me a little tight around the biceps area, although I do have an athletic build, I am in no way super muscular. The jacket stays in place really well, I wish they would have made the chest protection removable as it makes the jacket a little hotter by not being as breathable. The best feature is that you can put a hydration bladder in it, it hooks to a tab at the top of the back pad area. I put in a 2L camelbak crux bladder, I would not recommend anything bigger as it doesn't fit well. You can also route the water tube over or under your shoulder. Overall this is a awesome jacket, as long as you can get it to fit right.

I purchased this in an XL. I'm about 6'1 200lbs and toned. I could barely get this thing on as the mesh fits tight on your arms. Now the product seems ok quality wise except if its too small the sleeves will start unzipping themselves. MY ISSUE is with the exchange process. Now I love AMAZON but this really has me pissed off. I purchased this for $158 but amazon who's policy says they will exchange it without issue for size or color changes wont. Now if I return this too small jacket I was told I'd get a refund but I'll have to reorder the correct size. I would be fine with that until I found out the jacket has gone up by $70 to $219. I beat the rush and should be able to get an XXL without paying extra. I'm going to keep bugging them until I find someone who can right this wrong.

We like this a lot will update the review after we use it a little bit
1. The only problem currently is the upper arm area doesn’t seem to be cock right shoulder arm and forearm need to be maybe adjusted a little bit in size ..

2. We did a few reviews and other people are saying the same thing it is very small in size this is the extra extra large. And the upper arms are still cut small other people are saying that that lodge in medium sizes the arms are way too tight that’s what other customers and people are using it currently are saying

3. As an example this jacket Alpinestars Bionic Plus has a much better cut and seems to fit people better overall through the medium and large and extra-large sizes.

4. 100% people are going to have problem with sizing issues especially larger or fit athletic people hundred percent small note to consider to others , too bad alpine stars couldn’t adjusted the cut the overall feel and sizing of the jacket to be more like the bionic which seems to fit people better for more comfortable also the material is a little different on the bionic

5. We like this a lot will update the review after we use it a little bit

We really like the compression of the material and the way that the mess jacket feels on you, all the pads are in the right spot they seem to be pretty well they’re not too hard, soft padding and a little more comfortable than the bionic suits padding. Overall it’s a great product it’s just the cut I believe it’s cut small the extra extra large is not as large should be and maybe a few areas to be shown or stitched a little different but the waste is nice and tight and hugs your waist nice the back padding is not too high up neck and covers the back quite low in a good place. Overall we believe this is a really good product just all the sizing is cut to a smaller frame and needs adjustment from the manufacture but overall the product is really good.

When choosing a size one may want to think about going larger beware of sizing issues

Also good point The upper neck area does A really good job and is not too high the back spine protector is not as high also went sailing a moving around this suit is much more comfortable and say it’s much nicer on the body than the Alpinestars Bionic Plus. Yes The sizing might be a little bit of an issue but the cut and the wat it seats around the neck is much better, the cut around the neck is a little lower it doesn’t punch up as much and the back protector is much more comfortable especially when sitting in stuff .... the Alpinestars Bionic Plus The neck bunches up that rides a little too high and the back protector it’s a little too high and we will hit the top your neck more..

I've crashed a number of times in this suit, and I have never hurt my arms, shoulders, back, or chest while wearing it. Just remember to wear a light base-layer beneath it (to keep cool and prevent chafing) and a jersey over top (to protect it from branches and abrasion damage). Stays cool enough even here in the desert, IMO.
